I am a freelance commercial artist working in Santa Barbara, California for fifteen years since my graduation from Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles and Parsons School of Design, New York. I do illustration in traditional media and design on the computer. My handtinted photography uses my own photography along with stock and historical images. I also enjoy custom coloring images provided by clients. My interest in medicine and biology has made medical illustration another specialty.

Clients include publishers Graphic de France, Portal, Little Brown, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, MCA Video and Thomas Nelson. Medical clients include Mentor Corporation, Computer Motion and Medical Economics. I've worked for a number of Santa Barbara institutions such as Pacifica Institure, Santa Barbara Rehabilitation Institute, Santa Barbara Natural History Museum and the Music Academy of the West. I have won a Gold Medal from the AIGA and numerous Ad Club competition. And I've been selected to create posters for the Old Spanish Days Fiesta in Santa Barbara and two posters for the Vintner's Festival.
